Positive leadership in the police

Increase well-being, resilience and willingness to change based on evidence.

In the face of social, geopolitical and technological upheaval, the police are facing increasing demands for change. A current study with
3,329 police employees in Hesse shows that positive leadership has an effect on the general willingness to change via two central psychological resources. Through
strengthening well-being in the workplace and individual resilience, positive leadership promotes the willingness of employees to actively embrace change. The PERMA-Lead approach thus offers a practical leadership model for the sustainable support of organizational transformation processes.
