Deployment management: For over 20 years, I have been involved full-time in dealing with emergency situations, more than 15 years of which have been spent in various management and leadership roles. This activity has also inspired me to become scientifically active, to put these many experiences into context and to reflect on them. This resulted in my first master's thesis, then my second and finally a doctoral thesis. Of course, my intensive involvement with the topic of "mass psychology" is also a direct result of this professional curiosity.
